I was amaze when my cat open the door of my room. She always come into my room every night and open it. At first I thought my mother is checking me or what because my door opens and the I realized that it is my cat.

my darling have not yet figured it out. When she is trapped behind one, she'll try to get through the small slit but she can not because her body is blocking the way. So i always have to rescue her. Hoepfully before her 1st birthday she'll be wiser.

One of mine can open doors if the handle is loose or not a knob. She will do most anything to follow my kids to bed and learned out of pure spite to me locking her out of the bedrooms. ( she is bad and if offend pees on that person's shoes so no bedrooms for her)

We had a door in our apartment with a pull handle on it. My cat Precious, took great joy in standing on his hind legs and using his paws to pull the handle down. He was just tall enough and weighed enough that he could submit enough force to pull the door open. After he discovered this, we had to put a turn nob on it to keep him from opening it.

When our cat was about a year to 3 years old she could slip under the doors in our house, they had a gap at the bottom just big enough to slip your hand up to the wrist under. So we couldn't keep her out of any rooms unless we blocked the bottom of the door. She liked to sneak into the bathroom when any of my family was showering or bathing and scare us by leaping onto the side of the tub.

I think cat can push the door open and let itself in. But in condition that the door is not locked and the door doesn't close completely.

Surprisingly yes! They can open the door, but it sometimes creepy to hear a door is opening but you see no one is there until you realize that it's your cat!

My old cat when outside at night would always wake us up to let her in. It would come to the front door and dig it's claws into the flyscreen door and pull it back and let go so it would slam against the main door. It was a smart cat. And yes it also would come into my room all the time by putting it's paw in the door and pushing it open.
