How to prevent LAZINESS?

Sad to say, I have this syndrome. I call it syndrome because it corrupts my whole capability and ability. According to wikipedia, it is a disinclination to activity or exertion despite having the ability to do so. Every time I want to do something, when LAZINESS strikes me, duh it really stops me. Can anyone give me a piece of advice? i don't tolerate it but still it attacks me. lol

I wonder if you put off things because you don't feel confident in yourself, Habby69. You say that you have had problems sleeping (either too much or too little). That often indicates a period of depression and that plays havoc with our motivation. In some cultures, depression is thought of as a mental illness (which it is, of course, in some cases) but everyone goes through periods of depression and, even in those times, they can be immensely valuable to other people, even if they see themselves as being of little worth. I don't know what country you live in (because your profile says 'Unspecified') but I would suggest that you try to find a sympathetic therapist and work with them to restore your self confidence. Just understand that you aren't alone - many people say exactly what you have said - and that there are plenty of qualified people out there who would understand and help you without any condemnation!

I think the best way to get over this is to go out for a walk, or do something you like, but make sure it's outside. Getting out makes us feel better and like we've accomplished something. I know it seems like a boring idea when you're sat inside comfortably, but once you've been out you'll realise that there are othr things to do.
