How do you react and how do you feel when someone introduces you to someone new?I have to say I feel nervous because I like to give a good impression about myself.I feel worried I may give them the wrong one,I try so hard to make friends.I like to be nice to everyone,I'm not a judger. How do you feel?

For new acquaintances or meeting someone new, always be yourself and try not to worry about giving a wrong impression. i must admit there are times that my nerves do creep in, but i try not to show it and just try to be as accommodating as i could be. Good vibes or bad vibes, whatever it is, just be yourself.

I used to be nervous but that was before I found out that my need to be liked was a symptom of my insecurity. That need caused me a lot of problems in my life so I gradually got some self-confidence. I no longer care if someone likes me. It's nice and it makes life more pleasant but it won't ruin my day if they don't like me. I figure it's their loss. I like to have friends but I will never again try to change myself to please someone else.

hello java,
what i have observed to myself is that it depends on to whom i was introduced to...
actually i am not really worried with the impression that i might give to them or whatsoever, i am more concern on how will i deal with them. as much as possible i want to act naturally and be confident enough to face them...
i remember that when i was introduced to my husband's parents, i was a bit nervous coz i don't know how they will accept me, but after a while, we become comfortable to each other.
i also feel the same way when i was introduced to my husband's boss... but what i just do is to smile on them and again, just act naturally. the more you try to impress, the more conscious we are, the more we will likely to mess up...
and i think as i aged, my confidence also builds up and so my feelings now & the is somehow already different whenever i am introduced to someone new...
a smile can do a lot...

I used to be like you as in very nervous, but now i am not.I like to meet new people all the time.I must say that sometimes it is hard to start a conversation with the person as i do not know them.I find that if they have children then that is a good starting point of a conversation.I prefer to know a bit about the person rather than nothing at all.
