Does being from a large family cause more relationship issues?

Actually it's not that I think a large family causes issues, but some people may have issues either from being in a large family growing up or from being an only child. The problem arises when they take this issue into a relationship, such as, always worrying about who gets the last biscuit or an only child might forget to think of their prtner because they have only had to worry about themself. I find sharing and possessions become an issue. Does this happen in your relationship and what do you think is the best way to deal with it.

Well, coming from a family where there were boundaries and marrying somebody from a family where there were no boundaries, is an issue. I don't really think it's the size of the family. It's the culture and the parenting and the attitudes that can cause issues when you marry somebody who comes from a very different background. Best way to deal with it is open communication and mutual respect.

Yes it could be different background aswell. I don't mean to generalise but maybe there are common issues and maybe there is a way to address them.
