Getaway Locations?

I'm here up north and as everyone that has lived in a winter world, longing to be outside has turned into some cabin fever. Where do people go to A. either enjoy the snowy weather, or B. vacation spots down south to get away for a bit and enjoy the sun?

I love to go to NYC anytime. I miss New York; I used to go to school near there. It's always good to escape for your typical winter schedule. The winter can become doldrum inducing.
