I tend to smile a lot especially when I'm nervous, but I don't want to smile. It just happens I don't want to smile because my supposedly vampire teeth will show and that's really embarrasing for me. I wish that I had normal nice teeth like celebrities do. I was going to get braces, but I was not approved which made me really sad and cry. So my question to you is how often do you smile???

I smile pretty often. I'm a joyful person in general, so I'm joking around or stuff all the time. hahah you say vampire teeth? I do have my canine's kind of spikey too, but I learned to accept my teeth and smile more often no matter how my teeth looks. fake smiles for sure aren't nice, so we should learn to smile more often by heart, and not worry about how or smile looks like. it's the media and magazines that makes us think our smiles just aren't perfect enough, cause you see all celebs and stuff with perfect teeth without realizing some had their teeth repaired, so they're not all that perfect either otherwise.

With so many fake people around real smile has become a rare thing in this plastic world. We shouldn't smile just for the sake of smiling but it should come from within. And i remember a poem on this topic.

Unless I'm hanging out with family or friends, I really don't like smiling. It's not that I'm ashamed of my teeth--far from it. I just don't see a whole lot to smile about if I don't find anything particularly amusing. If there's no real reason to smile, why do it? I'd rather have a true frown than a fake grin.

I smile and laugh very often, and like you I don't have perfect teeth, not at all, I used to wear braces and any device that the dentists approve in order to make my teeth more straights. But strangely enough I never felt embarrassed because of my teeth, I, like you, smile when I am nervous, which I hate, I used to smile when my mother was reprimanding me, and she would get extremely furious about it because she thought that I was disrespecting her.

I smile everyday but I wouldn't say my smile is the greatest but I put in effort in smiling. I use my half smiles a lot and to many that is funny as they're wondering where the other half is. Other times, I get misunderstood for having a fake smile. Hey at least I smiled! :P I usually don't smile with my teeth but when it's so funny I will open up my mouth and allow a little air through.

Personally I smile several times a day, then again with the wonderful daughters that I have, smiling is never a problem. I also smile a lot when my husband is home or I am talking with friends. I think that the people who smile a lot live healthier and longer lives. So don't worry about your teeth, mine are far from perfect but I still smile a lot. I hope that you have a wonderful day and happy mylotting.

You weren't approved to have braces? Why? What's the reason??? Anyway, I only smile when there is a reason to smile... Only when I am happy Or when greeting somebody... Like to show respect and courtesy... I don't have problem with my teeth and I am thankful. If braces are not for you, maybe you can ask your dentist, what the alternative for it... ANIME123 don't get embarrassed with your teeth much, just smile and be yourself. Be happy!!! And stay Happy!

Don't worry about your teeth so much. Smile if you feel happy. Everyone has some type of flaw, but if you radiate warmth and love from within and this shows in your smile, then everyone will overlook your vampire teeth. Some people may even feel that vampire teeth are a turn on. You never know. Another suggestion is not to smile too much or too little. If you never smile then you are like a scrooge (ba humbug) and if you smile too much you will be considered a fool. So, smile when its appropriate. Oh yeah, yes I do smile, but try to follow the guidelines I just wrote above.

Hi, Smiling is a beautiful thing. I believe its the seasoning that spices up our lives and makes it worth while. I look forward to smiling and laughing everyday, for the good things and the not so good things. Facing life's challenges with joy and positiveness opens your eyes to real answers, you know.......... the kind that you cant see when you're too busy whaining. Cheers

i love to smile very much..i believe that smile can lightens our day. If you are fond of smiling you probably have more friends. Even if i am not in the mood, if i saw someone who smile at me then i smile back. Some of my friends ask me why i have a younger and worry free look. The reason is because i smile a lot.

I don't usually smile. Let's say I smile when something is hilarious, I smile when I am happy, I smile when I see my friends or family or any people I know, which may be considered as a greeting. I smile when I remember how stupid I was before, I smile when I remember the craziness with old friends, I smile when I remember someone. Regarding your vampire teeth, I can say it can be a charisma or an asset of yours. I myself don't have a perfect teeth, too compared to those celebrities but as far as I noticed people look more beautiful in the eyes when they smile. And try to look at Julia Roberts, she has the biggest smile in the Hollywood that I've ever seen on T.V., and as you can notice her teeth are not that perfect, too. It is true that when you give a smile to people, it brightens up their day. I read a true story in Psychology Today magazine, there was this guy who thinks people were homing in on his crooked teeth. They call this situation as a "spotlight illusion." Realizing that other people didn't really care about his teeth was freeing so he experimented w/ smiling broadly when he met new people. When no one reacted in horror and people responded positively, he began to feel at ease with his smile. "When he become more comfortable in his own skin,he become more appealing to others." What you don't know about how others see you stated that : " If you express interest in what other say, or smile and lightly touch their arm, they will likely feel flattered, comfortable around you and even more attracted to you." :)

I had my teeth all straightens and whitened like the Celebs do, at a young age, by a over zealous dentist, while the front row are still straight, I get so many fillings and they are backed up with amalgamum and root canal fillings, I would dearly like my Vampire teeth back, and would smile all the time. You are lucky. make the most of it those Celebs look so plasticy and false.
