Knowingly or unknowingly, our feelings and emotions are entangled with our near and dear ones. When everything is going on normally and things are moving as usual, our mind does not think about anything. When the demise of our dear one takes place, mind refuses to accept the demise. The fact that they are no more on the earth amongst us, does not get digested and mind continues to establish that, they are not gone, they are there with us, where can they go leaving us behind, they will come one day. In this manner revolution takes place in the mind, though in the innermost mind and heart, we do know that it is a hard reality and it is true, they are gone for ever. Time is the best healer. Surrounding people should be supportive to the person, who has faced the loss. If all are facing the sorrow, then they have to be supportive to each other.

I am very sorry for the demise of your mother-in-law. Console yourself by accepting the reality and give courage to your husband. Mother is mother, no one can substitute. So how much mental agony he must be undergoing? Please try to give him courage and help him in facing this situation and coming out of this mental turmoil. Let God help you and your husband in accepting this harsh reality.
