I am really excited when it is already friday... Happy for it is the last day of work for the week... Since before, even during my school days, I always wished for friday to come fast... Especially when the whole week was stressful and tiresome! I love to sleep long! Everyweek ends I slept long and woke up late in the afternoon already. Not necessarily would go to bed early... I just love to relax and be with my family members... chatting and bonding with them is enough even if we don't go out anymore, it doesn't matter... My saturday is for relaxation and happy happy... Sunday is for my responibilities at home like cleaning & washing clothes... OPPS!!! PS: DON'T forget to hear mass on sundays!!!

Hi Lovelyn_medrana, That is a very interesting discussion! I envy you that you only need to work fron Mondy to Friday, we need to wrok 5.5 days a week, meaning we need to work half day on Saturday, that's right! But we have no choice, we have to live. Then i only have 1.5 days left. Usually, i will get up late on Sunday, and then lazy in the afternoon, then here is Monday again!

And it was like whole day also for my out is 1pm and usually I managed to went out of the office past 1pm already then need to travel back to house so it was like I lost my whole saturday also somehow... Feel a little lazy going out for its a bit tiring as well... And then sunday-- need to do all things like prefer for the monday again -- fix my clothes and all... Oh men!

Same here Rikogei! I love to sleep! I sleep long during weekends, in fact I can be on my bed till 2 o'clock in the afternoon or sometimes three (3) BUT those were the days when I am still single and with no kid. But of course sometimes I missed doing it.

mmmm..spending weekend by going somewhere or having something special is not something I always do because for me weekend is just like another days. you know, I only had one day holiday in weekend so I seldom (almost never) plan something to do in weekend. maybe I have more time to watch TV, none else..^^

I understand having one day holiday doesn't do much... It is like spend it more at home and take a rest. It happened to me before with my first job - work six days a week- when sunday arrives, I prefer to just stay at home and rest. It is like I feel lazy and tired to go out anymore...

If your in my family the weekends are the only time to spend together but it dosn't always work that way I work 15 hours a day 7day shift rotation & really every other day feels like the weekend becuase of the days off but on the weekends I make the most of every second from the time I get home & late at night up till the time to go back to work doing computer stuff ,emailing fixing things ,phone calls, bill prep, food shopping, washing clothes, keeping the house cleaning & I tell ya the list goes on & on to where you just need to say not today ........relax I think many of us try to do to much.

Depends on whether my husband is home or not. When he's home, we go to WalMart then eat lunch out (usually McD's, sometimes Chinese) then spend the rest of the day spending time with the kiddos. He has to leave Sunday morning for work, he's a trucker & has a load every Sunday out of Tyson Meats. When he works the weekend, I usually spend Saturday at home with the kids. They play while I work. Sundays, after he's left, I usually take the girls to the grocery store with me for whatever deals they have. Plus they have some great chicken strips, so we get those for lunch.

hi phoenyxstarr! I also bring with me my little boy to the grocery. I think it a lot fun. My boy usually get stuff for me, he loves to pick things and put it inthe cart. It is also our way bonding. Though sometimes when already at the cashier and paying, I saw some stuff that I am not gonna buy at all (kids stuff and packs of candies)...

i actually don't feel so excited about weekends. for me, it's going to be the same as if it's a regular working day. although i can rest and have a longer sleeping time, there are tasks at home that i should be attending to. these tasks usually are those that had long been overlooked or taken for granted, like cleaning the appliances or getting rid of the leaks of the roof or fixing some holes or something on some parts of the house. these are just some things that could not be done on regular working days when i am in the office. not in a regular basis, as in every weekend, my brother in law will visit us at home. we could eat together at lunch time. and when they come, drinking usually comes after lunch or even before lunch. sometimes we go together to church or malls or beach or visit the father in the province. these happen often but not every weekend,

Weekends are just like any other days when you have lots of things to do, and worst when they are all lined up and just waiting for you... It seems to me that you are a busy man.. really busy!! Well at least once in a while, you have time to spend your weekend relaxed with your brother in law. Thanks to him. We all need to slow down once in a while.

hi there kindy198636! I agree we have lots in common! It is nice to watch our favorite tv series and/ or dvd movies while eating some snacks on the side, and match it also with some nice and cool juice. It is more enjoyable and relaxing. I think we deserve to pamper ourselves too...

I agree with you completely!!! I love the weekends and I always look forward to Fridays especially. That is the day that I get off work by noon and am able to spend the afternoon with my wife and son. A lot of times, especially during the summer, we will leave early on Friday afternoon and go on a road trip for the weekend which is a lot of fun. When I am in town on the weekends, my wife, son and I usually just take it easy. We will spend time with family, go to a movie, or go shopping somewhere nearby. On Sundays, we always go to church in the morning and evening services. I always hate to see Sundays fade into Monday, because that means it's back to work I go.

We all love fridays! It is good to always have family out every weekend. No matter how busy our schedule within the week, we must always alot quality time for them. I guess that is also a secret for a good and happy relationship... Sunday night means back to work....

I usually spend my rest day sleeping, watching TV and surfing the net. This is also my time to bond with my 4 months old baby boy. We can spend more time together. Sometimes we go out of town and usually go to a Beach Resort with some of our very close friends. We also maximize this day by going to the mall to shop or for groceries. Sometimes we go to a friends house when they invite us.

I come home on friday evenings. So I usually watch the tv shows and then go to sleep late, because I know I can sleep late on a saturday. I wake up around 10 or 11 and eat breakfast or lunch. Then I spend the day at my boyfriend's house or meeting friends. On sundays I wake up a bit earlier and start studying right away, because my college is a very hard one and it takes a lot of work to finish it. I clean my room on sundays too.

We are somehow at ease to stay up late at night, watch tv and home video on friday nights for we all know that tomorrow is "no work or no school"... We can stay late to bed... Our schedule routine are somewhat the same when I was still studying tanchyka... however, it was my boyfriend who usually stay at my house...
