Tom's MRI (dear christian friends#2)

Tom got his MRI yesterday and the results show he has four brain tumors, then they did a CT scan(?) to find where it originated from, and they're waiting for those results before they know what is operable and what treatments there are. He seems to be in a positive frame of mind.. They do know one is inoperable, the one affecting his hand (why he went to emergency). Yet I've seen people lead normal lives after things like this, and prayer.. Some right here on mylot! Do you know such a story? -Thank you for your prayers.. and please keep praying!! Thank-you.

I was watching one of those preaching programs on TBN. The minister was talking about a situation that happened in his church when he was a child. One of the families had a daughter who was having headaches and blurry vision. They took her to the doctor only to receive very bad news. I don't remember what they said the girl had, but it would probably cause her to die within months. At the time, I think they said, she was 12 years old. The family asked the church to pray for her, and of course, they did. They prayed every day. They had special prayers and laying on of hands. The next time she went to the doctor, she still got a bad report. The church continued to pray. They never stopped praying for her. There were more doctor visits, and the church continued to pray. Then she started to get better reports, even though she wasn't out of the woods. The church continued to pray until she got her final report from the doctor telling her parents that the mass was gone. He knew he had read the x-rays correctly before, so it was a miracle that the mass that was killing her was no longer there. When her family first took her to the doctor, there was no hope. She's now grown and married with children of her own. Prayer can work miracles, because God answers prayer. I will continue to pray for Tom.

What a great encouragement! Thank-you! I have copied and printed it to share with Tom and his wife Karen, so they can be blessed by it too! A very great story! So glad to hear it and that all ended up well for her.. Our Lord is faithful..

Thanks for the update. I have heard of a few that were able to live normal lives, but unfortunately not very many. I will keep praying for him.
