I can not stand a person that brags about everything. Especially when they are lying to. It just makes me crazy to listen to it. My husband was just talking to someone and all the guy was saying, was how great he is, how wonderful his business is, blah, blah, blah. I just wanted to get up and scream.

I must admit that no, I'm not a huge fan of braggers. Actually, to be perfectly honest, I don't really like them. Sometimes, I just want to yell at them and tell them to get over it. I understand exactly how you fell.

They do just make you crazy. Or the ones that brag and brag about their kids. I have two boys and I know we all love our kids, but please give us a break.

LOL. I just met this kind of person today. I can understand your feeling, sassy28. I don't mind listening to someone success stories, as long as it is the truth. But bragging about something which has never happened was something different, and how come they think that we would never know the truth by listening their lies? So this guy said that he was hired by NASA. We're living in Indonesia, and he barely speaks English. Who would believe it anyway?

I guess you don't have to be a rocket scienctist to know that was a lie. Thats for the laugh, it made my day.

i once dated a fellow (for a short period of time) who was like that. his family had money and he used to brag about that ALL the time, how rich they were, how he could buy anything he wanted, blah, blah, blah...obviously our dating life was pretty short lived!

I have found that most people that brag about having money, really don't. Family having it and him having it are totally different. Even if he did, you don't want to hear about it all the time. Unless, he was spending it on you. LOL

People who brag a lot are something that I can scarcely stand. Thankfully, I do not have to deal with these people that often. But when I do, oh boy, I really, really, do have to deal with these people. If you accomplished something great, then great, I am happy for you and its an achievement. However, you really only need to mention it once. To pound it into my head will make me want to not like you. After a while, I get to the point where I honestly do not care what you are talking about. You think you are great. However, how great are you really if you feel the need to constantly reinforce your greatness by talking about how great you are? Something tells me that someone feels insecure but perhaps that is just me.

I agree they must feel insecure about something going on in their lives. Tell me once or twice tops about something and that is all I need to hear about it. But everytime you see someone, ugh.
