Hi johndur!^^ If I suddenly get kicked off my current job, I wouldn't know what to do. I wouldn't know where to apply for another job. I've been in my job for a couple of years now and I rarely check other opportunities. But I would probably apply in another office where the job is the same as with my current. I'll probably ask my friends too if they have a vacancy in their company where the work will be much more technical than my current. I have thought of putting up a business before and if I have the money I think I would put up a gift shop or something like that. But I have always believed that I have no luck in running a business and all that. I used to have a little store but I couldn't manage it well. Maybe it runs in the blood. My mother used to have a small business too raising ducks but she couldn't manage it too so she had to stopped.^^;; But it would really be a dream come true if I could have my own gift shop.^^

Thanks for the encouragement.^^ When I think about it, the thought of having my own business really inspire me. Maybe in the future, if I have saved enough, and if I have enough courage, I will make my dream come true.^^

that is the worst that might happen to me. That is why I am thankful that I already have a part time job so that when I lose my regular job I still have a source of income. My part time job is good, you are a franchise consultant at the same time you have training for your own business and you can sell. It is a 3 in one opportunity. I am so happy to have found it. I know when I lose my job I have something to depend on. Actually my income on my part time job is much higher than of my regular job. I know in less than 5 months I will be leaving my regular job to start my own business, to continue my part time job and to be working online too.

I think it will be difficult for me to find a new job if I am fired now. So I may start to make my own business. It can be online or offline, as long as it seems I can earn from it:) I love China

ugh i dont want to think about it.. i mean we already went down this road one time since the recession and he was out of work for a month and a half before a new job which i know wasnt much compared to my bro would was out for 9 months but it scared me.. i just kept mylotting and trying to sell stuff etc.. im disabled so i cant do more as far as getting a job but i put his resumes in everywhere so it would help him focus on other ares of getting a job..

yeah its really hard to lose a job.and its harder to find a good one too.as i see it being disabled doesn't have much effect because you can do more than those able men who hates to work harder and yet keeps on complaining that they are poor. cheers!

Look for a new job in a similar or different industry. It all depends on what you really want to do. Then do MyLot on the side.

well thats really easy to say but lets face it getting a good job these days is not that easy.it would take months to get a good one if you are lucky enough.

Whne I was working I was twice unexpectedly made redundant and both times I turned my hand to gardening and doing odd jobs for people. It's nice doing this sort of the thing in the summer but less so in the winter and unfortunately I could never turn it into a proper living or else I would have kept doing it.

I would probably start looking for a new job ASAP. I wouldn't try to survive without a job because I don't honestly think I could! If that didn't work, then maybe I'd do the online earning thing much more than I do right now. Hmm.. great question! I try not to think about these horrible hypothetical questions - it shows just how unprepared I'd be.

thats the main reason i made this discussion to let people know what will happen if they were caught unprepared by the twist of fate.so they came make some backup plans if ever this thing happens on them.i has happened to me before that is why im sharing it to everyone to be prepared.im sure you wont get the same fate in work like mine.good luck and thanks for your response.
