Technology improve a lot. From our own television, my dad who are now 75 years old have experience the changes in television. He o shares with me the other day that during his teens, the only house who have television are those who are really rich in their town. The very first television they had was the black and white then the market introduced the colored TV. But now, we have the LCD plasma TV or also known flat TV. Honestly, it is part of our (my husband and I) wish list for this year. We hope to have our own plasma TV but for the meantime, we have to use the old conventional TV that we have. Most of the people I know already had theirs. How about you? Do you have a LCD plasma TV/flat TV already? Do you also have plans to buy one?

Dear Larish, This topic really brought me back to memory lane. I remembered when I was like 5-6 years old, my neighbour who was a teacher bought a television. It was black & white and in a special casing with blinded window. I and my brothers will peep through their window to watch those movies. Later when my fourth brother started to work, he bought the black & white television by installment payment. We were so overjoyed. Later, the coloured television flooded our market. My mum bought a 14 inches color television - we are really amazed with the vivid colors. It brings a whole new dimension to our movies experience. Now, we have 21 inch - 48 inch television. Plasma and LCD tv, so on and so forth. To enhance it, many have the full complete home theatre system. However, my house is still having the conventional 21 inch television. Hope to win one plasma television...LOL

I remember that TV's are big during the 1980's and we still have that one. Currently, we have a flat tv and maybe if it's broken, we'll buy another flat tv

Tv's have changed so much and the prices are still dropping. My wife and I bought a 47" Lcd for our bedroom because the price was right and we have worked hard and we decided we would splunge a little

our tv is 41" colored Tv, kind heavy! but work very well, we living in a apartment, so big tv for us! It is form the last family who leave here, we sublease the apartment from them, and they sell it just for $30. Maybe when we can buy a house we will consider buy a new one! Or If we want move to new place we will let it for a new one live here!
