Do you Exercise at home or go to gym?

I have got a Exercise bike so I can stay in shape I got it so I am hoping in using it twice a day that way I'll be able to get rid of extra fat so by the summer I hope to look good.How do you work out?I got at home. cd

I get enough exercise looking after my girlfriend's 5 cats and one dog. I estimate by summertime, I'll have burned off enough fat, that I'll probably disappear. cdrxo

Oh I know I won't starve, but when it comes to cheesecake, the only competition I have to watch out for, is Snoopy. You know how that little black stray just loves to eat cheese. Heck, I can't even eat my pizza by myself, without sharing the mozzarella! (Maybe the two of us should just get fat together...THEN work out?!!!) Nah that won't work either. He has the advantage there. He's got that darned toy gray mouse, dang it! cdrxo

I am very happy you are such a animal lover they probably love you for all the fuss you do playing with them ...But don't worry about losing any weight because there's always be cakes "cheese cakes" as well so you wont lose any weight she make sure of that you wont starve!!!!! cd

Hi,there.Im a member of a gym in the downtown.Since I dont have my own car at present,its not convenient for me to go to the gym anytime I like.I have a dancing blanket,which I havent used for quite a long time.Gosh! I spend very little time exercising whether at home or in the gym.Its really to lose weight.Maybe,I'll think about getting an Exercise bike at home. Cheers

I like dancing as well but I felt if I got the exercise bike it keep me in tip top shape I hope and to lose some weight as well for the summer.Good luck into getting a bike. cd

I work out at home at the present time but I am thinking about getting a membership at our local Any Time Fitness which is a 24 hour gym.

Hi, I used to have an Exercise cycling bike at home. Initially my husband, my sister and I will use it while watching the television. As times goes by, it was left there untouched. Later, my mum used it to hang clothes Finally we sold it. There goes out exercise. Then, we were thinking of joining some gym centre. Due to traffic jam, and the hassle ... the plan is still a plan till now. Once in awhile, I will go to the playground/field just opposite my house to play badminton with my son. However, since he has the new Wii (computer exercise), he seems to enjoyed exercise at home with the Wii Sport like bowling, golf etc. It is good that you put an effort to exercise twice a day. Keep it up

I am hoping to keep it up but you know how some times you start some thing and then stop I am hoping to keep it up and not stop I ride a bike in the sumer so I thought this is good for the winter when I don't ride my other bike so I be shape for the sumer. cd

Our daily chores if done regularly are enough of an exercise and added to that a brisk walk each day will take care of the need to go to a gym. I do it this way and it has helped me in reducing weight apart from the night meal I skip which keeps me trim and healthy.

I do the same as you do then I thought of getting exercise bike to keep me into shape I will go on some type of diet for summer I understand what you mean about chores they can help reducing weight as well. cd

I exercise at home since you really don't need much equipment for a good exercise routine, hand weights are enough and an exercise bike is a big plus but not mandatory. I spent some time looking for exercises that you can do without gym equipment and came up with a brilliant exercise routine, even without and instructor :D So I don't want to pay for a gym card if I can exercise at home just as well.

I like to exercise at home. I am a little self conscience about working out in front of other people. I use a dvd at home of pilates and yoga, I dont want people to see me working out LOL

I feel the same way as you do I don't like to exercise in front of to many people I feel I better off in doing at home and keep myself in shape for the summer to ride my other bike. cd

I walk when I can. Now that I can not get out side for the snow. I dance around the house, and stay active. I get up and down as much as I can, I just move around. I try to stay doing something to keep my mine off eating. Happy posting.

I know what's that's like that's why I got exercise bike so I don't think about the food....I just love to bake cakes and cook so I trying to lose some weight for the summer I bake the cakes for my friends but not "ME".... cd

Hi, crazydaisy. I exercise at home. I don't go to a gym. I prefer to exercise at home anyway. I feel more comfortable at home instead of the gym. I don't blame you. I am also working on my self improvements before the summer approaches. I want to have things together too. I would like to have an Ab Machine so that I can slim my stomach down.. Congrats on working on staying in shape! Good for you!

Thank you I just hope I can stay with it I hope to lose some extra weight before the summer comes.I got the bike for winter months so that way I can stay slim after a big Turkey dinner!!!!I like to lose 15lbs for the summer. cd

I've been working out using a wii boardthat belongs to my daughtr. I have so improved in just less than two weeks and have lost 4lbs too. The programme is varied and as I get better so thenI get more options to try. I am notin good shape and this is my first effort in years as well as I am 30lbs overweight. so I hope to stick with it and lose 20 lbs by June as I am going on holiday then. My sisters are slim and older than me so I want to surprise them

Well, usually i do my workout at home. After jog for a while then i just do push up and sit up for exercises routine. I like play football with my friends almost everyday and i think its a good way for me to keep fit and healthy.

i used to exercise at home, doing those aerobic workouts on videos. Now i dont have time anymore, too busy, to many things to do. i want to try the gym, but we dont have one close here and i dont have anyone to go to the gym with me.

Hi crazydaisy I will not go to gym as it is very costly besides it is very far away from my place and timings are also not suitable for me. So I will work out at home only getting up early in the morning and I am finding good results.

Hi Crazydaisy, My name is kiran iam 19 years old, My body personality is Slim ( Skinny ) I have did soo many excercises at Home But not at Gym....... Because i feel shy to do gym in poeple :D LOL But i got great personality within 4 months Now i stopped doing Because now i have buyed a PC, No time to eat also ;)

I used to go to a gym, but it was too noisy and crowded so I didn't renew, and now I can't afford it anyway. I, too, have a stationary bike, but I rarely hop on it. Maybe I'll do a few laps around the room on it right now in your honor. Good luck with your fitness goal.

At home with FIT TV and fit videos. That way I can have cardio one day, strength training another, stretching another and start all over again. Strength training keeps strong muscles and bones. Cardio is nice, but a full work out is a good idea. Today they had a lot of core and balance exercises at 7AM. They'll replay it at 11AM. Strong core and balance help people to fall less and to get injured less if they do fall as they get older. I fell down a flight of cement steps. I thought I must have broken something. I got up, I was just stiff and sore. Also remember to eat a little less and cut down on salt. Salt can make people retain water and sabotage the great work you're doing! Exercise biking every day is great! Keep up the good work, but don't forget balance, core, and strength at least a couple times a week. Great discussion and take care.
