What is your blog about?

Hi friends, I know almost all of my friends here are very successful bloggers. I have two blogs myself. www.selflearners.wordpress.com which is to help engineering students and computer and technology enthusiasts. There is another www.englightenedsoul.wordpress.com which is basically a motivational blog and has not been fully developed yet. When I first started blog I had a very simple purpose, to remove the obstacles that I've found in my way to make it smooth for others. I also get many recommendations from people on how to improve this blog. Students often request me to develop algorithms for them. So the purpose of this blog is mostly fulfilled. What is your blog about? How do you promote your blog and how much time do you think is needed to make your blog a successful one.
