cellphones have been a great help in our communication. if we want to contact someone, we can either text or call him using our mobile phones. the good thing about it is that we can carry it everywhere unlike the usual telephones. new models of cellphones are not only used for communication but also for music, pictures, and even internet. now, can't you live without a phone? for me i can! it's just a phone, life must still goes on :D

I have to have my cell phone. It's not a matter if I can live without it, I just have to have it on me for other reasons. First I work in health care and most times through the day I will get calls saying that someone needs help and I am the closest to that person. So I have to go take care of their needs. Next is that my mother has MS (Multiple Sclerosis). I always have to have my phone on and with me for her. She may need me at anytime if she has an accident like her legs give out while she is going down the stairs or that she is so weak that she can't get up. I would have to be right there for her. So without a cell phone for me would not be good.

Well I've noticed when I leave my phone at home by accident I feel like something is missing, I always keep reaching to get it and remember it's not there. Plus I think about all the messages I've missed. Seems to be a part of me now.

Well, I was around in the 80's when people did walk around without a phone strapped to their head and we communicated fine. Although I do admit that I feel kind of naked now when I don't have my phone to call my husband when I'm out. I guess I'm a product of the cell phone craze afterall. I still think texting is a waste sometimes. Just pick up the phone and CALL me . I'd like to hear your voice.

These days cellphones have been a necessity. And I must admit that it has been a part of my daily routine to bring my cellphone everywhere I go and check for messages from time to time. It's a good instrument for communication especially for those who live or work far from their loved ones. Sure, I can live without it but I'd rather do because more than just a cellphone, I use mine as an alarm clock, phone book for my contacts and other important things that I need to be reminded of. I'm thankful that advances in technology has done much to improve and make life easier for us. ;D

I sure can. have one & do try to remember to take it when i leave the house but half the time i forget it, duh. I'm not out much but know if something happened it could come in handy. I don't understand how people get so addicted to them. Both my sons are & to be honest sometimes they get on my nerves being on the darn things all the time.

In today's lifestyle, cell phone is very important in our day-to-day activities. If you lost it or someone stole your cellphone, you can live without it uneasily because you are use to have a cellphone.

Of course I can live without a cell phone. I hardly ever use it anyway. However, it does come in handy for staying in contact or during emergency situations I don't really use my cell phone for media purposes such as photos or music, because I already have other gadgets that do those things much better

I can live with a cell phone. In fact, mine is prepaid and I don't use it a lot. Nothing is that important that I have to be glued to it. If people want to contact me, they call the land line phone, email me or chat with me. I got it for emergencies.

I have a love/hate relationship with my cell phone. In business you are pretty much obligated to have one. It's an unfortunate leash, though. That's where the hate part comes in. I was born in an era where there were no such things as cell phones (1972). I do enjoy the convenience. Not to mention that the payphone has become as extinct as the Dodo or Atari. If you do find a payphone take a good look at it. Do you really want to put your face on that? As far as living without my cell? I love that idea in theory. The fact of the matter is I really do need one. I've done away with the typical land line in my house. I will say this, I keep my ringer off most of the time. I force people to leave messages. That way I can prioritize how important the call is. Other than that you have to email me or knock on my door. But, please call first! I hate when people just drop by!:)

Yea,I think I can live without a cellphone right now.Because I haven't have a job yet and I just use my cellphone to text someone and nowaday there are many other communication tools that can replace the cellphone temporary at least. And undeninable that cellphone play an important role in our daily life.

Since I work at home, and don't get out often. I can certainly live without it. I really have one just so that when I do leave and do business outside the home, I have it for emergencies.

Hi, kyel_11. Yes, I can live without a cell phone. I have before. And I am sure that I can do it again. I have a cell phone that has not been activated in about 10 months as of today. So, I am very sure that I can live without one.

of course i can live without it. in the first place, it is not that we need to live with like water and food and air. but kidding aside, cellphones are for communicating with people who are far away from us, and so without these, we just can't communicate with them. i still prefer having a laptop instead of cellphones, as i can do more.
