School life or College life?

Hi mylotters. I think many of you have completed your school and are now in college or even have completed the college. During school days, there were homework, classwork, limited pocket money, bonds by parents and teachers. In college the things were opposite(yea there was study)we were free, we had no bonds, we can spent as much as we can. My question is, which life did you enjoyed? School life or College life? I really enjoy my college life. My school life was not so interesting.

I enjoyed very much my life in college, I had so many good friend, and we used to have so much fun, however we didn't have a cent, but it was ok with us, all what we used to do is go to the beach because it was cheap, I remember whenever we had to study or finishing some project and we will stay up the whole night, at the following morning we used to go a dinner that was close to us to have breakfast and coffee and we were so sleepy that we was laughing all the time, so people would think we were drunk.

Hi aviambitious!^^ You are referring to high school/middle school life, right? Well for me, I also enjoyed my college life better than my high school life. I enjoyed my high school life too even with the not-so-nice teachers, s+upid guy classmates who always made fun of me, s+upid female classmates who thought they were better than everybody, and s+upid crushes who were to shy to make a move.^^ I had good friends then, and we are still friends now. But whenever I remember my high school life, I also remember how childish everything was, how childish I am, how petty things were, like things that we (me and my friends/classmates) disagreed upon, how ignorant I was, how naive I was. I thought I would have been cooler than that. LOL My mother was also a little bit strict and I remember how she got so angry when I told her I'm going to sleep over at some friend's house. She didn't want me to and I couldn't understand why. .

hi, i agree with you that college life is more enjoyable than school life..but i enjoyed my school life alot. though there were lot of restrictions in school, i still enjoyed alot. in school one gets to learn so many things which we can never learn in college. school is a building block for every indivisual..once u are in college no one even bothers to teach u anything especially in terms of ur personal development. my college life was boring. i felt that all my collegues wer busy in competing with each other in terms of every field. but that was not in school. all the competions wer healthy. we never had any rivals which was very common in college. the amount of love, care and attention i got in school was tremendous which made me strong, n now i am a person who can give the same amount of love to my surrounding people.

well, I am currently a 1st year college student so this discussion is something I can relate with. Uhm, honestly speaking, I loved my school life than my college life. Before, I don't do much concerns on my study habits. Unlike now, all I do is sleep, eat, study, and go to school. College life is like a cycle of life. You tend to repeat what you did yesterday. Unlike school life, you recognize everyday a new day, a new learning and a new start.

Hi, aviambitious The same as you, I love my college life, school life is still happy, but have too many homework, I don't like home work, and don't have enough freedom, and as you say limit pocket. The college life is different, don't have too much homework, and I was free I can do anything I want, though don't have too much money, still have a lot of fun, have many best friends in college, we can play together, and study together, my college life will always be a best memory in my life.

College life for me, I must say. School life for me was just dull, and seemed like merely nothing more than earning my GCSEs and leaving. However, in college, I became more active, I did stuff like enrichment courses and met a whole bunch of really awesome people.

I've recently returned to college to get my M.A. It's quite different then being an undergrad. Still, it's a nice break from reality. One thing I've noticed about the undergrads I work with (besides how old I feel) is they are still pretty care free, sometimes too much. I'm not sure some of them realize what a tremendous opportunity they have been given. Everyone makes mistakes. Especially in the first four years of college. I understand how easy it is to get derailed from the ultimate goal, getting their degree. School is school. It's highly structured. Students are constantly supervised. I hated school. I've never done well in conformed structure. That's why college was so appealing to me. I, more or less, got to make the rules. I love the freedom, and the fact that every student is in charge of their own destiny. When you register for classes you've essentially made a commitment to yourself. It's up to you to live up to it or not. That's real freedom. Make your choices and live with the consequences.

Yea,I like my college life more.During the school time,I nearly studied everyday even every moment. There was few time for me to communicate with my parents and my friends. The college life is totally different. We have more time to do things that we like. College life is more colorful that I enjoy it more.

We have a grown up day and day. In school life we have learn more knowledge than others.IN order to learn it we have no enough time to play games, but in school life is necessary for growth ,when we leave school i think you will certain missing it . In cillege life we will reach more, you will learn independent, you will learn most than in school life but is not knowledge . School life and college life has complementary. Best wishes.

Just like you I enjoyed my college life more. I came from an exclusive girls school so it wasn't that fun. Back in school time was dictated by teachers and parents. Have to sleep early, wake up early. It was such a hassle. In college everything goes by your own rules but you also become responsible in the process: you can't over do everything because it might end up with you getting kicked out of school.

At the moment im in college. I have found college life to be the 'one'. During my school years i never really had the time of my life. Many things i did wrong and just that fact that it felt like i was always being watched in school, whether it be a teacher, an adult or just someone that worked at the school. My college life so far has been what it is like on TV. FUN!!!, but there is still the seriousness of college and i love that challenge.

Yea there is fun in college life but also seriousness. We should enjoy college life but also should not forget our studies.

Now i am missing those happy days and i can never forget those days.It is very difficult to forget both school and college days.I enjoyed both in colleges and school. There is more freedom being in college though, more opportunity to meet new people and do new things, and learn new thing. The atmosphere in college is entirely different from that of a school. There is no one to control us in our college. If we enjoy fully in college it will spoil our future. It is a important turning point in our life.If we do not concentrate in our studies,in future we have to suffer a lot.

sreejithsreenivas you made a point here that over enjoyment in college will spoil our future. I completely agree with you. We should enjoy but we should have control on ourself. Thanks for the response.

With or without pocket money...with a lot of strenuous academic pursuit to carry on ,those golden days in either school or college were simply great ....fine happenings to remember in joy !

i agree with your comment.i find that the school life make me tired of my study.i should finish many lessons and homework until midnight.when i get up eveyday.i alwayse sit down around the table and start reading.at the same time i often do many exams and make me suffering for its results.so i dont like the school life.but when i enter into the college, the life way change quickly.i have more free time to do what i want.we often play together.i share many happyness in college life.

a lot of people say, and i agree, that high school life is the best stage in our life pursuing a formal education. college, oftentimes, is highly individualized because of its very nature. most of those attending college come from different and faraway places, while hardly does this composition be seen in high school where students come from one community and are familiar with each other, even their respective families....

well i prefer my college life. i mean everything are differnt. your on your own now. activities here are not like what you have in highschool.. there were times that you have to do overnight in somebody else's house just to finish your project and thats the fun part,.. the bonding of your classmates are also different for me.. we are so close that we treat each other as brothers and sisters. i really enjoying college life
