Do you give your residential address in every new website you are registering?

In many sites during registration, they are asking contact details. They will register if and only if we give the details. I feel little uneasy to give details to them. Will you give all your information to new sites??

Yes, Alot of them do not take PO Boxes... and some of them pay bonuses through check and not paypal so you have to give that information to get all you can from these sites..... IT is not like they are going to come to your house or anything

Yes,when registering in the sites, they will ask to give the residential address. If you hope that the site is legit then only give your residential address correctly. In some sites, the admin will send the payout through cheque, in that situation we have to provide correct address to admin. Thank you, and all the best avimra.

I am very careful with this but I have given them. It is only if it is a reputable website and one that I know is legit, not that will spam me though the actual mail. One thing I do not absolutely like giving out is my phone number. Trust me, people will get a hold of it somehow and will never stop bugging you. I have learned this the hard way. Thankfully the issue was settled but talk about annoying.

Yeah, I do give my address to some sites. But I hesitate to give bank account numbers or SSN to any of the sites. Good luck

No, I use my work address. Mainly because the mail service where I live is really bad. We did not get mail for a week one time, then got a whole pile in one day. I figures they must have been on vacation and just decided not to deliver the mail.

If giving out your home address bothers you then consider getting a post office box. This allows you to give them a place to send payment, etc to without them having your residence information. Most of the time I don't worry about it becuase I get enough junk mail anyway what is a few more pieces. As well as that the admins on these accounts are usually too far away from me to worry about and if people want to find out about you there are a million ways to locate someone if you have a first/last name and a city.

I never give my entire address to anyone on internet. I give my city name, zip code, state, country. But never give my exact residential address. We should not give our any details to anyone on internet, it is very dangerous, there are cases where someone received parcels that contained inappropriate things(XXX), even if he did not ordered it. Someone can send anything to our address just for fun(fun for them).
