Are you a person who holds grudges instead of letting it go?

I know people who hold grudges over the smallest things. It hurts the other person who they're holding a grudge against, ad sometimes the grudge holder never attempts to make it right again. I wish people wouldn't do that. It keeps the grudge holder in a bad way when the other is mentioned, and it may or may not even bother the one who the grudge is against. If I held a grudge with everyone who did something I didn't care for, I probably wouldn't have anyone to talk to.

Hi chrystaltears,As a human beings we cant avoid situation like that in our life.But i tried my best to understand and settle immidiately all grudges.I really want a peaceful life and dont want to feel guilt.Have a nice day!

Hazelrose, that's a very super way to handle situations. But not everyone has that character to handle things that way. I used to know a guy who amazed me because he said he didn't have any enemies and he never wanted any. He smiled no matter what.

I tend to hold onto grudges but i am working on being more forgiving. When you have those behaviour patterns though it is hard to change, it can be done but it requires effort.

The only way I was ever able to do that was by getting saved, because after you're saved and you're really changing, you have God's help.
