Do yo use sun screen protection when you are in front of the sun on summer?

My secret is olive oil.Natural olive oil. Because i have a sensitive white skin i allways had this dilemma of picking a sun protection lotion and for the little times i've tried i ended up lookind like a tomato. My familly doctor recommanded me to use olive oil before exposure your skin on the sun.You can get that bronze tone slowly,step by step without damaging your skin.

Depends on how long I'm out in it. If it's more than a few minutes, then yes. Especially if I am fortunate enough to be snorkeling in Hawaii, because I can go for hours, completely lose track of time, and the sun would not be kind to me!

There is no sea in my place so I never go to any beach for sun bath. But I use melascreen sun screen lotion, whenever I go out in sun or summer. That will take care of my skin against sun rays.

I haven't used sun screen for quite some time now. The reason for that is that I find that I burn just as badly (if not worse) when I use sunscreen than when I don't. I will typically get one pretty bad sunburn per year and after that I will just get darker and darker. For my children I will use sunscreen on my son because he is fair skinned with fair hair and eyes while I won't with my daughter because she is dark skinned just like her Native American ancestors (my husband is 1/4 Cherokee Indian).

I am supposed to wear sun protection when ever I go outside even on cloudy days. I do have very sensitive skin. Blue lizard is my favorite brand, because of the zinc. My doctor asked if I had any relatives from Ireland or Scottland; yes I do. This is part of the reason I need to wear it, besides having red hair, greeneyes, and very light skin.

Hi, alilin28. Yes, I do use sunscreen protection in a cream for my face. But for my body I don't really use it. I do use Cocoa Butter Lotion. But this will fade my skin darker if I stay out in the sun for long periods of time. That is only if I don't go to the beach. If I am just out walking around to the park.

I don't like to use the lotion, though it protects our skin, with the reason that it comforting me and gives me a couple of zit sometimes. I usually get a little darker a whole year just for one summer swimming. Anyway though it's the sun of summer but for the 24hours a day, how many hours that we are really under the sun?

I use sun screen protection everyday in the summer, althought I may forget some time! I think it is necessary, because sun on summer sometime is so big will burn our skin. Actually, back my hometown, girls used sun screen umbrella to protect their skin!

Hi Alilin28. I am from Singapore and here we do not have the 4 seasons. It is always like summer as it is hot almost every day, well occasionally rain but seldom. Therefore, putting on suncreen is a must for me everyday. I use normal suncreen with 20spf and without any tanning gel as I am of medium skin tone. However, I use lightening cream to make my skin slightly fairer.

I find that I almost have to. I burn easily when I step outside in the sun. Even just being outside for a couple of hours, it can lead to burning. I put some kind of protection on. Whether be safe than sorry. I remember one time when I got burned really badly outside. It was not pleasant and I could not get comfortable at all.

So You people like summer. But for me it's totally different. I don't like summer because of hot weather. I can't tolerate. Before come to china i thought summer is ok. But now oh ho. It's too much. More over our lab is too far from my hostel. And the practical class at the afternoon. Sometime i really feel to cry on that situation. But i don't use any sun screen protection.

I stay in South Africa the sun always shine here and it is hot,hot,hot. I must atmit that i do not use sunscreen. When i was younger i use to take cooking oil and use that to sunbath, it gave me a nice bronze brown tan. Now that i am older i do realize that one need to put sunscreen on but still i do not use it. Bad habit i believe.

Hey girl, summer is coming soon and i protect my skin by the sun screen at that time because it is necessary for me. I like to use the Lakme 15 spf cream. It is better then other cream. Try to use it. Hav a great day.

Yes, I too use a sunscreen in summer and now that summer’s here on us, I’ll have to go and buy my bottle. I’m not very particular about the factors though as I don’t venture into the sun much…we have Lakme products here which are good enough for me and I’ve always used their sunscreen lotions.

Oh yes. I'm far too fair-skinned not to, although I wish I was one of those people who tanned easily. I also want to take as many precautions against wrinkles as possible.

I rarely used sunscreen although i use powder make which already includes in its ingredients sun protection and all i do is to avoid too much exposure to the sun during 10 in the morning up to 3 in the afternoon. Or when i go out i usually bring with me umbrella or wear sunglasses and never stay too long in the sun. My best moisturizing is water and drink a lot and so the best way for me to avoid sun exposure is to avoid it. since, i try before to use sun protection and my face swell because i am allergic with its chemicals so i eventually avoid using sun screen.

i think you should use the umbrella rather than using sun scrrens and also its more fun under the shade of an umbrella in a beach and ya dont forget to have some cold drinks with you

i always use protection when i walk under the sun it is very dangerous and it may cause skin cancer or tumors even just burning from the sun beams is dangerous and at the very least hurtful
