What do you think about the ipad?

iPad is the best experience ever.Thats what apple said at their keynote on 27th january.It is packed with a 9.7" dsiplay with ips technology and a bloated ipod touch.Thats ipad for you.
It is supposed to be an innovation rather resulted in a stupendous ipod touch.My iphone 3g is by far a greater competitor.It does have a long battery life,ibooks store,multitouch iwork but what we need is scaled down macbook than a scaled up ipod touch.The wait has definately not paid off.Apple should have incoraporated more innovation into thier tablet.Maybe we would see it in the second generation ipad.That would be another year of impatiennce.
So would you buy the ipad and do you think it is an "innovation".

I'm not that fond of what the Ipad has to offer. Its an Apple product and that alone should tell you a lot about it. Apple should quit while they are ahead. It looks clunky and not exactly what I call the next "inivation". Unlike when the Iphone came out I don't think the Ipad is going to do as well. Not when people have simplified versions that do a lot more.
I'll stick with my laptop thank you.

It's pretty much just a giant iphone if you think about it. Apple-lovers will go insane...everyone else will remain decidedly unimpressed.

I think IPAD is very cheap for its quality and performance. But money will cash in on applications that you need to download and install using apple itunes or something the same for that mater. The only thing that makes it a bit short handed is the size of the memory that has a max of 64GB. I wonder if its expandle.
But since is the first release, a lot of room for improvements. Apple always dominates on their new products. I wonder when it will be availble in the philippines.
