This days we all know that internet crimes, viruses, and many more malicious files are all over the net and spreading very pass, of course we want to avoid it by using anti virus on our PC, for those who dont have enough budget ill recommend AVIRA antivir for its high detection rate even though its FREE but you can rely on it, and for PAID antivirus ill recommend KASPERSKY its fast on the PC, high detection rate, updating hourly, removes virus easily, and the new feature sandbox that lets you run suspected application on safemode. You what will you recommend for PAID and FREE anti virus and why?.

I think Avira is really good. They have both a Free and paid version! I also like Avast but found it didn't pick up everything.

Avast is the best I can recommend and I use it myself. I can have any virus protection software that I want regardless of price and I still choose the free home version of Avast. I have used a lot of others and I have found Avast to be the best protection you can have from viruses. Of course you will still want something to keep your computer tuned up and I highly recommend "Tune Up Utilities". I don't remember what it costs but trust me it is worth the price. You will get a lot of different advice and you will have to make your own choice from that advice, so I urge you to use Avast. I set up computers all the time and repair them where people have been careless and allowed virus, trojan horses, worms, and all types of mal-ware on their computer to where the think their is no hope. Once I am finish repairing the damage I install Avast and I have never had anyone complain. To the contrary; they have recommended Avast to all their friends too and are very pleased with the service they get from Avast.

AVG and Avast for free and ESET Nod 32 and kaspersky for paid. I am not really using an anti-virus. I have deep freeze installed.
