Who is it?How did you feel then?Did it happen accidentally or you chose it?Can you narrate or share that experience?Did it haunt your life after that?

i was involved in a motor vehicle accident years ago. As i was driving home, a vehicle in front of me hit a pedestrian who in turn was thrown in front of my car! An unfortunate accident... He was hit in the head, picked him up as he was still breathing and brought him to the hospital. i was all messed up with his blood when we arrived to the emergency room and he was declared DOA. The experience was really a traumatic one for me, seeing a person lose his life, and the fact that i was involved in it. his family understands that it was an accident and never blamed me, but i really had nightmares after that.

That is really terrific. And I appreciate your responsibility to carry him to the hospital without running away from the scene. In fact, you would have no time to notice what his condition was, until the doctors declare to be.i can understand how you felt dejected even after your hard try to revive him.It is quite natural for you to get haunted for days by that incident.

I have not yet been near a dying person, but I hope that it won't be the case for some time still...It always seems like such a sad and depressing experience whenever you read about it in books or see it in movies :'(

yes! Some authors and directors have interest to depict it elaborately in their piece of art.Sure,it is a drastic experience to read or see it.And it would be very disturbing to be near a closed one's passing on date.that needs great courage to see it ,in fact.
