Hi friends , This is a matter of great concern that the stock of non renewable sources of energy like coal, oil and natural gas, is decreasing so rapidly that each and every government had started thinking seriously about alternate sources of renewable energy. My question what is the best and cheapest source of non conventional energy your country is using and how far your country is successful in that area? The options are well known to all say for example wind, solar, tidal wave etc.Hope to get lots of new ideas along with those listed here.Happy mylotting.

So far we have geothermal and hydro power in our country as alternative. But the hydro power is not effective during summers because the water level goes down so power generation is also low at that point in time. I think there are those that are trying solar power since that is some kind of abundant in my place. Almost all year round we are having a sunny day and a few days of rains. But that technology is quite costly. I also know that there is wind power somewhere in the northern provinces because the wind there is stronger all year round. But still the power generated there is not enough to supply the whole region but only a small area only. I guess it need a lot of space wind lots of winds to generate enough power to supply the demands for power.

Wind, hydro and Solar energy should be maximized. This way we can lessen the burning of coal and fuel that endanger our well being.
