does the number people using the internet reduces if there is no google?

do you think that the number of people using the internet especially the common people will be decreasing if there not a thing named google in this word .... i think the answer would be yes .. because more people started using internet since they can find anything here ,..... google has helped them in a great deal with that . they have also linked the people all over the world and made them friends through the applications like orkut, gtalk etc ..
