Which international Tv should I get?

My husband and I currently have SKY tv which I think is ridiculously overpriced. I was judt surfing and came across PCShowbuzz by inkline which promises 1000 channels internationally. Does anyone have this or any other international tv system? We are also wondering if watching international tv will used up our download data cache as we currently have a limited amount (about 4 Gig) after the initial download does usng the program use more? Can anyone help, we are new to this concept. Thanks
