Who'll really play Peter Parker is it Zac Efron or Rob Pattenson?

Based solely on characters that the actors have played in the past, I think that Zac Efron would be the natural choice. I believe that it would be almost difficult to see Robert Pattinson as Spiderman because he is so readily associated with Edward Cullen in the Twilight Saga. Zac Efron is mostly known for his roles in the High School Musical movies and needs to move on to a grown up role and I think that this would be the natural step for him.

Wow - I had not heard of this at all. But then I dont keep up with rumors much. I personally wasn't impressed with 3, but maybe 4 will be better. I will give it a chance. I guess I would prefer Pattinson. He has a more serious disposition. Zac Efron is still in the Disney stage and might need a few more serious roles before I could see him taking on something like this. Rob has the angry vampire down, maybe spiderman will cheer him up like Edward is supposed to be?

I particularly don't care for either actor in the role. What happened to Tobey Maguire? But then again, from what my friend said. This is going to be a flashback to his pre-Spiderman days, so maybe Tobey wouldn't be appropriate. I don't understand why they're doing this movie at all. Who wants to know about Spiderman before he was Spiderman? I'm traumatized enough for poor Peter from his flashbacks of high school. I don't think I want to go see an entire movie with him getting bullied.

Well the Zac Efron one is being viewed as purely a rumour with no real foundation to it at all, other than some journo making it up for a magazine piece. Pattenson would be a fair choice but he is to well known for one character now and so is unlikely to be chosen. The most recent actor to be suggested for the role, and there does appear to be some truth in this, is Logan Lerman whose last movie was "Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief"

I would imagine it's probably Zac Efron because the reason they dumped Tobey Maguire was that they were going back to a younger, early teen Spidey and despite playing a perpetual 17-year-old in the Twilight movies, I think Pattinson looks his age (25? 26? I don't feel like looking it up now, he was 24 when the first one came out) or older so I don't think he really works as a 15 or 16 year old.

hi jlamela! I would definitely go for "Robert Pattinson". He got charm that every viewer got crazy for especially teens and young ones. I think it'll be good for him (spider man project) so that he will not be attached so much with "Edward Collin" character. I like him because he got natural charisma and I know that he can pull this project perfectly. Zac Efron on the other hand is cute but, I don't see him as Peter Parker. I don't know..lolz... But the guy is very talented I can't deny that. But I'll definitely go for Robert. Because he got me. hahaha! Happy Lotting!
