if you had the choice between being in PERFECT health but living a normal/short life and your significant loved ones theirs or would you choose to be disabled but not vegetative state (such as maybe crippled or something but still aware just limited in body function) and live forever and have your loved ones live forever too?
would you give up your perfect health for an immortal life for you and your loved ones but be in poor health or have a handicap? or do you think being immortal but not healthy is not worth the price of loved ones being around forever?

For me it's definitely the first option! There is no fun of living forever while being limited on some functions or lack of some abilities. I would rather live a normal length life at full health and I believe my loved ones would choose the same option. I don't want to live forever.

what if your normal healthy life turned out to be shorter than the average and all your friends and loved ones dying before you though?

Well I find it still better than being handicapped till the end of your NEVERENDING life!

I rather be healthy then immortal. I wouldnt' want to live forever and be blind or crippled. Do you realize how long forever is? What do you do after the sun blows up?

do you mean disabled, or just challenged?
Challenged = I am legally blind, but I can still see enough. I walk with a cane, but I can still walk.
Disabled = I am completely blind, can not see, and I am in a wheelchair, can not walk.
If you are only talking about challenges like the ones I am facing now, then I could handle living eternally, because I'm used to this. I would not want to live forever if I was totally without a faculty, or paralysed.

like disabled.. cant walk, crazy, pain condition that makes you not mobile a lot, asthma to where everything sets you off and you have to limit activities, etc..

I would choose perfect health for myself. It seems very unfair when the people around me would be immortal when I myself am disabled. I am in support of the view that one should give first preference to one's own self. All others come later, including one's own relatives and children.

im torn since i would never want to lose my loved ones but in real life im disabled (not crippled but a lot of health issues) so yeah it would suck to be disabled and live forever too.. would suck to have an unlimited amount of years but yet not be able to fully be active in all of them with your loved ones being able to

Hello dear,If given a chance to choose between health and immortal life?Well,I would choose Perfect health, but i think its imposible for a human nature. But just for this topic,i'll go for a perfect AND normal life.Besides I can continue serving and worships God for the rest of my life.Of course with my family besides me.By the way ,I really want immortal life but Life that full of happiness,It is only in heaven. An eternal life WITH OUR LORD GOD AND OUR LORD jESUS CHRIST come judgement day.A REAL pERFECT LIFE IN HEAVEN.God Bless!have a nice day!

Immortality would be nice. Plus disability...makes it less tempting but I believe I can still live fully with that, be able to compensate it with my other capabilities and talents, and even excel in my knack. But having to witness all loved ones pass away time after time is depressing. Whereas, being a perfectly healthy mortal means you can savor almost all the goodness in life and more likely die happy. Oh, it's so hard to choose.
