SMS Alerts

sms - The picture shows an SMS entering a cell phone. Is it a message from our friend or from somewhere else?

These days our cell phone inbox contains more commercial messages rather than messages from our friend. People gets at least three to four such messages per day. Only few of them are of little concerned. Many of them are deleted before reading. They just irritates us throughout the day. However we can also receive out bank account details and ticket booking status on these. Even if one don't want to receive such messages, they call their service provider and tell them not to send such messages.

hi sanjeev hey i had the same probem before but now i have de activated such calls and msges . so just call ur service provider and deactivate it

oh yes...it's very annoying! I also receive some text messages that I don't even have interest on. The most irritating sms that I have received was about me winning something from a raffle draw that I don't even know of. Really weird.

I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. I don't get them at all. Well, when my cell phone bill is ready, I get a text message from them & when I make a payment for my cell phone bill, I get a confirmation message. But that's about it.

Same here. I just dont entertain such thing. I simply turn off my phone for me not to be disturbed.
