Ever happened to come upon you in bathroom someone from your family, and then locked the door on the inside in order not to repeat, and now even if you're alone in the house, inch door just because you're so used?Perhaps there are dangers to be sick in the bathroom, or do not hear when someone rings the door, but there is a danger that someone in the family to enter, a child and can find you in an awkward situation, sitting on toilet. Because I lived almost all the time with two sons in the house, I found the solution to switch off the light when we don t use bathroom, and so everyone knows that if it lights, bathroom is ocupated. Since i live alone, I usually stayed the same, if i somehow forget to turn off the light in the bathroom, ask before i go in, "is there anybody in there?.."So get used to lock the bathroom door when using the toilet, or can take a shower or bath? in your home course?

I don't lock bathrooms ever. I hate being locked inside so often I don't close the door. I just yell 'I'm in the bathroom' Then nobody would dare go near lest they taste my wrath. Of course if I'm its not my house I pretend to behave.

Is dangerous to lock the door, is possible to be sick, or something else, and no body can enter...

When I was about six or seven years old I remember locking myself in the bathroom at home and I was really petrified. No matter how hard I turned the lock it would not budge. My dad ended up getting a screwdriver to the handle to let me out, but it seemed to take forever. Hence, now as an adult I never lock the bedroom door which means the kids and my husband are free to come in and out as they please and they usually do. I only ever lock the door if we have people staying in the house but that is not very often anyway.

I don t lock the door when i use my bathroom, but i ll close the door for sure. But if i ll go in visit or when i use somebody else bathroom, i will lock my door just because i am afraid that somebody can enter, because he feel that is home, and don t knock to toilet door.

In our house, when someone is using the bathroom, its door is always locked. Plus we wear bathroom slippers inside, and we leave our house shoes or slippers by the door, so it's easier for us to tell if someone's in aside from the lights turned on. But when it's just me, I don't lock in the bathroom so it would be faster to get out just in case.

I still prefer to lock the bathroom door if I'm using the toilet. It just feels awkward if your family member just enters accidentally. Although there maybe dangers about yourself being sick and unconscious in the bathroom, the risk is quite low. If you even had to worry about that, then you would have too much to worry about.
