So around the time of 1993, there was a game that was released that practically pioneered the FPS genre, and a lot of the gaming industry was revolutionized. It was called "DOOM". Back then, it was the most popular item on the market. Within the first year of the 9-level demo shareware version being released, 10 million people had downloaded it. When it was first released, so many people were waiting for this legendary title, that they crashed the servers it was located on because of all the traffic. So, my question to you is simply this: who here has heard of DOOM? If you have, who here has played it? Anyone that plays it, do you play seriously? Online? Where at? How long you been playing it? Is it still a great game to you? Come on, people! I can't be the only one on this amazing website that still plays this awesome marvel of gaming technology :)
