Dream Interpretation - I Need Help Regarding A Strange Dream I Had

Now and again I have really strange dreams, none stranger than the one I had this morning. It was so "real" but silly at the same time. I was quite relieved to wake up, even though there wasn't anything nasty going on it it. Certainly wasn't a nightmare. Anyway, the dream involved swimming in a public, indoor pool. I was situated along the edge of the pool observing others but not doing much swimming. I don't recall being with anybody. Then, once I went into an open-plan(!) changing-room I was with someone, a lady...but I don't know her in real life, so I've no idea who this person could be. She soon discovered that her expensive, designer jeans had been stolen so I was in the middle of consoling her (nothing lesbian, I can assure you) when a group of women in white coats came sauntering through the changing-rooms. I then had a vision of Olay Moisturiser, even though I don't use it. These same women went out, and came back in with a tray full of glasses containing champagne. I asked my friend if she wanted a drink and she refused. So I refused. Then I woke up!I do know that dreaming about swimming and champagne symbolises good luck BUT I didn't swim and I DIDN'T drink the champagne. What on earth is it all about, can anybody help me with this?

Hi Janey, Sometimes dreams have meanings and sometimes they don't. I have had dreams that never made since to me. Or I have woke up crying because of dreams that I have had. I always pray over things and ask God if there was a meaning to this dream or not. I am sure he will give you an answer. Or you can talk to someone your close to and see what they think of the dream. I talk to my husband when I have dreams to see what he thinks it meant.

Thank you. It can be very hard when you are having a bad dream and crying in your sleep. It can be hard to wake up when you are in a deep dream. But when you wake up crying from a bad dream you need someone to talk to. And I am glad my husband was there for me. My husband is the lucky one that doesn't have dreams. But if he does have one he thinks its going to come true or its a warning.

Well I read somewhere that we ALL have dreams but not everyone can remember them. My husband can never remember his dreams but I tend to...not all but some. I wouldn't read too much into your husband remembering the odd one and thinking there's a message in there...it's just that he can't remember the others. Hope this makes sense!

Aww I feel for you having dreams that make you cry, that must be awful and at least you can talk to your husband about it. That's good.

As a therapist, I have worked with dream-interpretation a lot. We used to do it in groups where each person would act out their dream taking on the role of each character and element in the dream. It was the dreamer themselves who got to know what their dreams meant eventually. Sometimes it was quite a deep and revealing interpretation, whilst at other times it meant very little. The weirdest dreams though, always seems to carry the deepest message. _Derek

Try making searches on the web using dream or dream interpretations. It may not be exact, but you can give it a try. Nothing to lose and everything to gain.

I have been told about a dreams site earlier in this discussion but - like you said, there are probably more. Thanks for your suggestion.
