I was tutoring... and my stomach kept growling...

Oh yes! The same thing happened but not during tutorial. It was during seminar. Either I had eaten too much or eaten nothing at the time. I know my seatmates are hearing it but they just played deaf. Besides, if they make any remark about it. I would just laugh and make fun of it. We're just humans and there are things that are way beyond our control ... even if they are happening within our own bodies.

ahaha. I am happy to have found this post. You see, the same thing had happened to me. In my case, I was also tutoring and it was lunchtime but my student and I were almost done. We just had two or three items left. But as we were going through it, my stomach growled and he heard it! lol. He pointed it out to me and I just laughed and told him we'll finish and then get lunch.

I had similar embarrassing experiences quite a few times. The main reason is that I don't have a decent breakfast in the morning. I have soled this problem by having a cereal in the morning. And making sure that I eat regularly and in small portions. I am a teacher too so I don't want to be ridiculed by my students :)

I really wish that i could have been there. You already know what i would have done, don,t you? LOL. I had a bad experience, when my tummy started to protest at work one day. I was in the office with the old boss and while we discussed the new jobs, this thing just had to put in a word or two. He thought it was funny, but after seeing the smoke coming out of my ears, he decided that we can finish that little work piece the next day. It is embarrasing, but what can you really do, but laugh.

hahaha it would be much better if u laughed with your students. at least in your situation it was just growling. i remember once in an exam i had bad diarhhea. i failed in the exam bcoz of it. i suffered from my stomach a lot in the past.
