Hi, alilin28. I agree with you, Nokia is a great cell phone to have. I can't tell you how many times my phone has fell and hit the floor or the ground. And it has never broken at all. Nor was it damaged in any kind if way. I have a Tracfone now. It is brand new. I have only had two old cell phones before. I used to use an old cell phone that my husband's cousin used to have once. I only used this to look at the time. And one time my brother-in-law found a cell phone at an club on the ground. The service was not activated. And, I just used this to keep up with the time too. I only had two cell phones of my very own. The other two were not mines, they belonged to someone else.

Yes, you are right. Cell phones are becoming cheaper with great technologies. But what is the use of keeping six cell phones. Just buy the best phone available in the store and use it to the fullest.

I've changed my cellphone maybe more than 5 times: nokia 5110, nokia 6150, nokia 6210, nokia 3230, philips and now samsung E590. My phones are just simple, not high end at all like those with touch screens and wi-fi. I just want the camera and bluetooth. If I were to buy a new cell phone, I'd like to try Sony Ericsson.

I've changed my cell phone 5 times till now. I only buy a new cell phone when it stops working or most often when the battery stars having problems. I don't usually stick to one brand. My first two cell phones were Siemens, the third Alcatel, the fourth Motorola and the last one HTC. I still use the Alcatel and the Motorola as I have three numbers and they just have small battery problems.

I've had 2 cell phones so far and I agree with you, Nokia phones are very durable and reliable phones. But still, durability depends on a model and construction of the phone. Phones with movable details tend to break easier, than the ones made in one piece.

My cell phone use right now is my sixth one! I buy first cell phone in 2003, when cell phone still kind expensive, but just become very pouplar in college. And one and half years later I lost it because it was stolen with my wallet. Then I buy the second one, which is nokia, I fell it on the floor during I'm runing once, but still work! This one is also stolen when I was in a train station! This time I just buy a second hand use phone, this time I use it until it broken! Since that time my cell phone isn't stolen again! This phone, I just chose it beacuse it kind modern, touch screen, have so many skills. I think I love my second cell phone most!

Since getting my very first cellphone in college, I've had 11 phones. That's in about nine years' time. Haha. Nokias and Sony Ericssons are the brands that I've had most although I've tried a Motorola Rokr E8 and my current phone is an LG Renoir.

I've had a cell phone for almost the past 13 years now. The first phone that I had in 1997 was as basic as they come. I can't even remember what the original phone that I had was. However, since then I've had Nokia, Samsung and I can't remember what the other brand was either. In total since I was seventeen years old I've had had five different cellular phones. I believe that my favorite of all the phones that I've had is the Samsung Propel that I've had for about that last year and a half.

i remember when my father has had his first cell phone, was in 1996, the year who cell phones came into my country.. was "ericson" cell phone, and of course, with the pass of many years, we can see the differences between he past and present cell phones. i remember that it was too hard went whereever you wanted with old cell phones, because they were too big, and too hard! lol! but its true! thanks to bring your remembers, because i could remember the same! have a ncie day

I believe that I am on my fifth phone in the last 13 years. The first phone that I had when I turned 17 years old was a phone that did nothing but make phone calls. It was funny though because when I first upgraded my phone when I was 19 I thought sure that there was some sort of radar on my new phone because it seemed like no matter where I was my mother was able to find me. The most recent phone that I've gotten is a texting and camera phone. I love the phone that I have right now, it is a Samsung Propel.

i only change my cell phone when they are already dysfunctional and beyond repair. you know, i only use them for calling and sending text messages, so i don't need the latest models with cameras and other advance features... that's just that, i use cell phones for the original functions they were designed for... communication...

I have started using it recently only...so i have the same which i had from the starting..its Samsung...but after using it, I came to know that Nokia are the most dependable company, their life is long...as my hubby is using it..if i have to change it i will probably switch to Nokia only...though they are a bit costly than other brands, the quality is good
