In our country i find that there are many teachers who punish their students for unwanted reasons. What do you think is the situation in your country? If teacher punishes student for a known or good cause its not a problem. but you see there are many teachers who beat their students just because they have got their personal problems building up. What do you think should be done to these kinds of teachers??

I think, this is not possible for corporal punishment Instead, they can give them homeworks as a punishment, or conduct reporting infront of the class.

corporal punishment are not allowed based on the code of ethics for professional teachers. If the teachers are caught in act for this action he/she will undergone process before the dismissal of his/her license and proven that you are guilty you should be liable for your act and you will be dismiss in the profession.

i would just go off on the teacher, i say yes to a point but when they put thier hands on my kids, no that is my job or was. we had a teacher who claim my daughter wrote her own note for gym, and she told him i did it, and he sat there and called her a laier. so when i called down there and talked to him, he told me what goes on in his class is none of my business. i told him when my daughter comes home crying it is my business. but i talked to the princeable and he took care of it, the teacher called back and said sorry. the schools that my kids ever went to knew they didnt want me to come if it was over somethimg stuipd.

Teachers don't have the right to beat students... what you are telling is correct.. i ve come across many teachers who beat students if hey are mentally upset with their personal problems.. but we need to accept that sometimes they also do the same for the goodness of students.. they may be harsh even strict.. why they are so?? the answe is one.. he/she may not lik know you are but still they wanna make u a good citizen with leadership qualities...thats their duty or assignment.. this may be the cause probably.. but others must be punised for their brutal act is wat i say..

Well harsh punishments are not accepted, however teachers do have rights to correct the students in right polite way.
