sigh..how to control your desire for food...

hi,girls...do you have some time you cant control your desire for food..im experiencing it now and have add weight already..depressed... so how to control it if it happens..i cant make it.. wait for your sharings...

Drink water. It make your tummy full. Or you can drink milk, I heard it curbs cravings. I have cravings right now too. Usually I'd go drink juice or water. Not the sugary kind mind you. Drinking when your hungry is easiest to get rid of when you're exercising or sweating because then the weight is easier to lose than when you eat solids. Also eat more vegetables and fish. Meat usually takes long to digest, it can stay in your bowels for 4 days or more adding weight.

Hi crazyenglish! I agree with pipayst ^-^ .... I do also drink water when I'm craving for a specific food, though sometimes I eat but I make it sure just a little bite. Discipline is the key! Have a good day to both of you!!

i like this sentense--"Discipline is the KEY!"..hehe...these days i have been quite ok for controlling my desire for food..so my weight has been down a little bit...for me, the most effective way to lose weight is eating less. dont know why sports are not effective for me at all.

i definitely agree to pipayt that it is advisable to drink water when you have food cravings. That's what i also do and same with kumar i sometimes sleep so that i wont be thinking anymore of food. Another thing that i do is i divert my attention like playing online games and answering to the discussions here in mylot. I know its hard to control but we just have to try our best for our own benefit.

hi crazyenglish, i think it's easy,just eat it the first time when you saw it.So when comes the second time,don't eat because you already knew the taste. Another way to control it is that ask your friend to treat you the nice food but share the food,you half me half. So in the end,you can taste it,gained weight by half of what you are suppose to gain & no need to PAY. Lastly,you can treat me the good food.You just take a little bit because i can take the rest of it..

yes. i agree that eating with friends is helpful for controlling desire for food,coz i often eat too much when i eat alone unconciously.

No need to control food..It’s a good idea to have an idea of the calories that most food items have. If it is a packed thing then the label is sure to have the calories that the substance has.
