Do you ever eat the pets that you once keep?

Many peple keep pets, such as dogs, cats, chicks, turtles. Some people will eat their pets when it grow up older enough. I cannot understand that cause I think it is cruel and uncomfortable. Eating some animal you once kept make me feel like killing my friends. So what do you think?
