The Insulin Pump

How many people out there use this? My mom just started using it about one month ago and she actually is doing very well with it. Here glucose readings are alot more under control. She can eat whatever she wants (within reason) and is not bound to eating only at certain times. Also she can feel free to use this in public and not worry about people staring unlike before using the insulin syringe. The best thing about this item is that all she has to do is know the carb amounts of the meal and enter it in, the pump does the math and delivers the right amount of insulin. Usually this type of therapy is for children, but adults can benefit from it as well if they have been hospitalized due to high glucose. So what are others thoughts about this?
