Hi,guys...I don't know about story of valentine day..Could you tell me about it?please describe it to me...

DCMerkle's history lesson gives you the best background, but there is one more aspect to the story. Many, many years ago, candy and card companies despised the gap between Christmas and Easter, a terrible bump that slowed the momentum built from the Halloween-Thanksgiving-Christmas run. Someone remembered the stories DCMerkle related above and figured out the timing was perfect. The true story of modern "Valentine's Day" is therefore nothing special. Just like Mother's Day and Father's Day, it was born more of capitalism than love. Only in our own hearts can these days really mean anything, so don't let my cynical tale bring you down if you really get enjoyment from them!

heathcliff, It was a capitalism thing, but out of it came the collecting of antique Valentine post cards. Lots of people collect post cards. Ellen Clapsaddle was one of the biggest card artists out there. Her cards are hard to come by and the most expensive to collect.

Huh... I think I've heard the story when I was a little kid but I really don't remember hahah. I suggest Googling or Wikipedia-ing it. That always works xD
