Hi
I am a new user and wanted to start a new discussion to try and get some suggestions to my dilemma.
I am very much for Family and go with the flow, I have endured some form of backstabbing within the family unit since growing up but has progessivly got worse.
Since my nephew has grown up and is now thirty two he thrives on gossip and dramma, in the last seven years I have being through a rough patch with my family awareness to what was happening with my messy divorce, in saying that as well my ex has not seen his son for seven years.
Recently I learnt that a form of betrayal took place from my newphew whom I told a lot of things to, he contacted my ex husband on face book and is now in contact. My son and I feel so betrayed by this as its like he has taken sides, we put up with the constant lies and backstabbing, which to me is wrong as if you cant be there to defend yourself dont say nothing until that person is present.
I am beside myself in how to handle this situation, we both feel isolated, betrayed and I am now going to change my phone number. If anyone has any ideas in how to deal with this would love to know.
