Is it okay to tell a secret to a girl?

Many people saying that girls wont keep the secrets secretly and they will disclose it. But, I don't think so. This is not the case always. What do you think? Women can keep secrets better than men. So, whats your opinion?

I have thought that it was men who could keep a secret better. However, with age I have come to think its more on the type of person you are. There are females that can keep a secret really good as well as men. Then you have your busy bodies who are nosy and can't help but spill the beans and gossip. So its based on ones personality. If you tell me not to say anything to anyone my lips are sealed because I would never want anyone to tell my secrets when I told them not to. It all goes back to "do onto others as you wish them to do to you."

hi lelin and lamb y es indeed some men are great at keeping secrets and some are not, same with women. I think it stems from how one was brought up. if you had parents like mine who believed in the golden rule, then you would do unto others as ye would have them do unto you. Not like my half brother whose philosophy seemed to be, do others before they do you. that does not work for me at all.

Hi avimra, I think it depends upon the situation. When you feel comfortable to the person whom you trusted to talk with it then go on. Before you do that think wisely.

avimra thats so tiresome so guy must have thought that one up. of course I can tell a secret to my best friend, and she would never tell a soul. we trust each other. I think a lot of women have more trust with each other than some men do.Lets just say to be really truthful a lot of wome can keep secrets better than some men. Some men , not all, can blab a secret to anyone if given the chance.

That's not true! Women can keep secrets! I keep secrets, I don't want to break the trust of my friend or anyone who told me their secret.

i think it depends on .for me ,you can tell me anything .i can keep it .lol. but i also don't know if women can keep secrets better than men . and maybe it does't matter between women and men . just depends on what the people are?

That depends.There is no problem if the girl can keep secrets.In my personal opinion,women can keep secrets better than men,I am the very girl,I never ever disclose any secrets,and my friends always tell me secrets.
