Is it best if the Male is older than female in a relationship?

yes i think that the man should be older my husbands where maybe to some people to old for me because they where both 15 years old than me but we got along great and you don't have to worry about them cheting on you going out to the bars because they our settled in life and they our happy with one woman

You don't think that maybe they might be just a bit too settled. Your Story is a good one. But out here there are alot of opld white men with young Asian Wives, sadly, they are lazy old guys and the wives, just seem to put up with what none of my Culture would.
I hate subservience, so I think around the same age is best. Older Guys, may be more inclined to treat you like an older Lady, their Mother for instance. You wait on them hand and foot.

well i like being with an older man and no i didn't wade on them hand and foot in alot of way it was the other way around and as for these older men with asia women why do they have to go over sea to find a young woman because american woman will not put up with there crap and alot of older men have to have a younger woman to make them feel good all over

It doesn't matter in the ways of love if either gender is older than the other. All that matters is the feelings between two people. age gaps in a relationship don't have to be stumbling blocks.

I would prefer male is older that female in a relationship. they said that female matured more faster than male... That is based on my observation... ^.^

Hello Mandybeau, welcome to Mylot.
I guess its very personal and depends how the 2 people feel about it.
As for me, I wouldnt want to be in a relationship with someone younger than me. Id like the man to be older. Usually, the women are more mature, so there would be too much of a gap between the two. I also feel that its best for everyday life. You tend to get more in tuned with the other.

I do believe that age does matter nowadays. It doesn't matter your old by age but the looks seems young and the physical that fits the partner. But the most important is compatibility and the balancing of attitudes. Love must not be selfish and greedy. Have a nice day!

In my personal opinion, it is not always like that. Cause I myself is younger than my wife, even only a year. But it depends on our backgrounds, character and social status too. So in now days, that statement is not relevant anymore. People is free to express their love with each other, not based on their ages, but their maturity.

I personally go by:
Age is a matter of the mind. If you don't mind then it doesn't matter. So, who is older and who is younger is less important then how well they get along.

I think it is good if the guy is elder then girl, because girls are more mature than boy not in all cases but mostly,but the age gap should be 3-4 years they should not have more differences of age, but i have seen many cases where man is younger than women but he is mature enough for relationship,I think it depends on the circumstances faced by any person in his/her life that makes her/him more mature.but generally guy should be quite elder girl.
