what life are you going for

I'm bewildered at my life. I don't know what I really want. No goal, no interest, no fun, and no future. In retrospect I've never thought much about my life before. When at learning stage, I just tried my best in study because that was required. I didn't know what I was learning for, maybe for a good job. The parents and teachers paid all thire attention to my school record, and no one cared about my thought and my interest. Actually I was just interested in playing, lol. Then I engaged in software development respectively in three companies for more than two years after finishing my college course. During that time, I was busy in working for living, average ten hours a day, without time for thinking about my life and future. After that, I got an offer in a public institution which is more relexed and stable, but also futureless in my mind. Now I've gotten used to my monotonous work. It's easy for anybody to hell around, but how long will it last? I desired to set a goal for my life or to cultivate some interests to make my life more meaningful, but I've found none. I'm going for nothing, how depressing! Hi, my friends, what are you going for?

Hello, I do not know how old are you,but it does not really matter.Try to see the world in different way.The life is so vibrant.I guess you have friends:enjoy time with them.Find out what you are good and start doing it.Find some challenges and use your brain creativity. Why not quit your secure job.Have you watched the movie "The Secret"?I recommend you to have a look at it.Just be positive and find your own niche and your own world where you will feel comfortable in your own skin. Let me know when you get some progress. I hope it helps somehow. Regards, treven

Try to figure out what you like to do best. Its never too late to find another job, one that you will enjoy working at. I am just about to finish college and I, too, have no idea what I want out of my life except one thing - I love to travel. I want a decent job that will allow me to go on vacations at least every couple of years. I love to work, luckily, so as long as I find a job with a nice group of people I will be good to go. I wish you luck!
