Well this right here is more of a question for the girls, but I find it hard to walk in high heels. Also it really hurts to walk in them it hurts my feet. I wish high heels would be more comfortable to walk in. I don't know how girls can walk in them for so long. Today was my first day wearing high heels and it was so painful after a while. I just wanted to go home and take them off and just relax my feet. My question would be if it's hard for you to walk in high heels???

Yes it is. Very hard. During our off campus teaching, we were required to wear atleast three inches heels and I was really having a hard time during those days. :( Doctors said wearing high heels is bad for my scoliosis. But since it is required, I wear it only during important occasions on my off-campus-teaching like my final teaching demonstration and so on. :( I even said to my supervisor during that time that if they may, allow me to wear flats because my back aches each time I wear heels for long time. :( It can be very sexy when you are comfortable with it, but I wouldn't want to risk my health just to feel sexy.

It's always good to remain healthy. Yes it can feel very nice with high heels still if their uncomfortable and at risk to your health it's better not to wear them then.

It's all in knowing how to walk. When I was in middle and high school I was in the marching band and learned to walk, rolling on the outside of my foot, putting my heel down first and rolling forward until my toes were the last thing to leave the ground going for the next step. And I still walk like that, especially in heels... not so much rolling because in heels only the heels and toes are touching the ground but I still put my heels down first and pick my toes up last.

That is a good strategy you have their for walking. Maybe it will be less painful on me if I walk like that. Well it's worth a try. Thanks for the helpful advice I really appreciate it.

I wore them for 30 years when I worked out in the world. When I even think of wearing a heel now, my hip hurts. When I did wear them, they flew across the livingroom off my feet the instant I got home. They were sooooo uncomfortable. I did alot of struttin'.

High heels can be quite painful on your feet it's amazing how some girls can wear them for a very long time and also how they can wear such high heels.

they are not my favorite shoes to wear, but its not hard fo rme to walk in high heels. then again, i wear modest heels. my cousin walks around in 4 inch heels everywhere and I don't know how she does it. hopefully you weren't wearing really high high heels for you first day. the trick is to gradually add inches to your heels and also you probably don't want to wear your first pair of heels for too long.

Oh no I actually for my first day I wore some short heels because I know that if I start with long heels I will fall. Today I actually almost fell and they were short heel. Still wow your friend call walk in 4 inch high heels thats incredible. My mom can also walk in very high heels because shes used to it. Still one time she twist her ankle because she was walking on a curve and slipped a bit.

I see what you are saying I guess that I would have to use high heels because I am not so tall, but I think I may be the right height for me.

Hi, ANIME123. No, it is not hard for me to walk in high heel shoes. Unless, the shoes are too tight or they may have straps that irritate my feet. That is only time that I can't walk in high heel shoes. I don't like to wear high heels everyday because I will have to take my time walking in them. And I walk fast, so these type of shoes would not suit a typical day for me. I prefer flat shoes or shoes that have an 1 inch heel.

I am petite so I am kinda used to wearing high heels. There are times though when I dont want to wear it all day because i dont want to strain my feet. I am really a fast walker so my feet really hurts when I wear high heels. When I really need to wear high heels, what I usually do is pack them and wear something comfortable first and just slip on the high heels when needed. that way, I can minimize the time i need to wear them lol. i also have a fear of my heels being broken so I always have an extra pair of shoes with me so i dont over use my heels. :D

First of all i want to say i don't have any problem to walk in high heels. But i don't feel comfortable. I think sleeper is more easier to walk then any of high heels. Usually i don't wear high heels. But some time i wear with the matching of my dress. When i wear then i don't love to walk so much. Either i walk a little or sit any of car.

Well let me tell you, I am a girl, and I consider myself very feminine, and I don't have any idea how other girls can walk in heels, for me it is a total nightmare, when ever I have to wear them, which I only do that for extremely special occasions, I will have pain from my feet all the way to my knees and my neck. I mostly can only handle the heels if I am going somewhere that I don't have to walk too much, less than a block, and where I will be seated all the time, if i go to a place that I will be doing a lot of walking, or going to dance, I have to wear flat shoes, there is no way that I can wear high heels, I have seen those girls wearing pointy shoes that at the same time have a very skinny heel, and I feel pain whenever I see that.

I love wearing heels but they hurt my feet too so no worries. I'm kinda short so usually it's really difficult for me to wear them but it's more painful then anything. You can buy padding to place in your shoes so you don't get blisters too by the way if that's your problem at all.

well, I first wore high heels when I was 14 and I walked ok, though my legs were unstable. Since then, I can say that I wore heels only on formal occasions and even if I have around 4-5 pairs oh high heels, I wore heels maximum 5 times in a year. now my mother tries to convince me to wear them more (I've got 5 ft 1 inch) you can wear heels while you are at home, so you can get used to them faster and easier.

I can do it. I just don't dress up enough to ever wear any of my high heel shoes. I always get a comfortable height when I buy heals so that I am not unbalanced and hurt myself trying to walk in them.

high heeled, shoes, cramps - high, heeled shoes, cramps
I also felt that hard in my feet. I prefer to used one inch shoes than doing it usually. My feet will crumps and so w/ my legs. It hurts and I dont want to feel it so I will not use like that. Very tight high heeld shoes can also produced unpleasant odor to our feet especially in cold areas. So if it is compulsory in the meeting I will use but if not I used flat ones which are more comfortable compared to the first one stated aboved.

Actually I prefer to wear high heels. I can walk even trot in them without any problems. I think it is more because of my very high arch in my feet. When I wear sandals and such that have no built in arch my feet and lower back start to hurt. Im better off in my bare feet rather than to wear a flat shoe. My sisters on the other hand cant walk in heels to save their lives they hate them, and they both have low arches.

It depends on how drunk I am and what I wear on my feet. Tights can actually cushion your feet but I wouldn't recommend them for open-toed sandals lol. Seriously, though, I don't wear high heels all the time but do know women (like my Aunty Enid) who feels obliged to wear them because she is so small. That's fair enough but I bet my feet look better than hers.

Hello ANIME, For myself i don't have problems walking in high heels.. I feel normal as my other shoes, unless i will be dancing with them, but for normal walking i don't find any difficulty in wearing them. Its your first time that's why you feel hard about it.But If you get used to it you can even run with high heels..Try to wear high heels more or from time to time to let yourself get used to it.. Happy Lotting! God bless!
