Hey there movie junkies, We all watched about a hundred movies but do you have a favorite line? Some of my personal faves are: "The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return." from Moulin Rouge. Another came from the movie Can't hardly wait, "Fate exists, but will only take you so far, because once you're there,it's up to you to make it happen." I make it a point to write down memorable lines when I'm watching movies. How about you? Share me some of your favorites. =)

HI! I don't have any favorite movie line, or maybe i don't know what exactly that means, but as I understand it, it is about some movie director. From the movie genres I mostly like the comedies and the adventure movies, because they are really interesting and funny!

Oh, what I mean is, a favorite movie dialogue as said by the actors/actresses from a movie. An example is from Forrest Gump, "Life is a box of chocolates, you never know what you're get." Something like that. Thanks anyway for your response :)

well, onlyprincess, there are a lot of beautiful and memorable lines from movies i've seen. and all of them seem to be my favorite that i just can't find a single quote that would qualify as my favorite. "the king is not england and england is not the king," is one unforgettable line from oliver cromwell, a period movie where the leading man is richard harris. "... we don't have the proper attitude of distance," is another phrase from a movie about forbidden love in the 70s. there are more of course, but the problem is, they've got my memory crowded and it may take a day or two to sort them out...

i think one of the most memorable movie lines for me is from the late Rudy Fernandez and its "walang personalan trabaho lang..." and the one fron kung-fu panda which is something like "there is no secret ingredient, its just you...." theres a lot more i know but but cant remember the exact lines...i hope anyone here can help me in this....

Helo another kababayan! I think Rudy Fernandez really made that line popular. We even say it on a daily basis, I could hear people always telling or defending themselves with those lines. :) Kung Fu panda is a great movie, another memorable line is "Yesterday is history, Tomorrow's a mystery and today is a gift, that's why they call it present". =)

My favorite line was from the movie Stardust in which Yvaine, the main character of the film said " No star can shine with a broken heart." very simple but meaningful :) Which means, in order to be successful in life, you should have a full and good heart :) If you don't have it, you won't shine at your brightest. It's really one of my favorite movie lines. I love it so much. Another favorite line was from the Princess Diaries in which, Mia Thermopolis said "I wondered how I would feel after abdicating my throne as princess of Genovia, would I feel happy? Would I feel sad? And then I realized, how many stupid times a day I say the word 'I'." Really meaningful. :)

I haven't seen Stardust yet, but I agree that's a meaningful line. Short, but it says a lot. I love Princess Diaries too, and I remember one funny line, "I can't be a princess, I'm still waiting for normal body parts to appear!" :) and the line joe said to Mia, "Nobody can make you feel inferior without your consent."

"Let the Force be with you." Star Wars I think we all need to feel a little power in our day. Some days, I feel like I need some kind of life force because mine is a little tired.

I think for me, it would have to be the movie Jerry Maguire, when Renee's character said, 'You have me add hello'. I think that's a cute line, and whom can forget Tom Cruise's 'Show me the Moneyyyyyy' - LOL.

hi friend, My favorite line is "I done hard work and atlast i got a sucessful job" from the movie "The pursuit of happyness". The movie will be very fantastic and good line story. The movie A struggling salesman takes custody of his son as he's poised to begin a life-changing professional endeavor. have a good day.

is it the same with "less talk, less mistake?" I like your line, it can be applied in real life situations. There are some thing we wished we didn't say, or made us look foolish in return. I love the simplicity of the statement, a meaningful one, too. Thanks for your response :)

There's really only one line I can think of off the top of my head. It's from The Breakfast Club. It's when the Judd Nelson character asks the principal this famous line, "Does Barry Manilow know you raid his wardrobe?" As many times as I've watched that movie, that line makes me laugh every time.

Hi dantz, I think we've got a misunderstanding here. I'm asking about a movie line or quote, and I think you're answer is really out of it coz we know for a fact that "mr.Bean" has no dialogue or line. napatawa mo nman ako dun, jinojoke mo ata ako eh,hahaha peace :) Thanks anyway for your response :D

Lines from movies oftentimes stick to our minds. Examples are: "Akala mo lang wala, pero meron! meron! meron!", "Si Val, si Val, puro na lang si Val. Si Val na walang malay." or "I'll get you and it will look like a bloody accident" from the movie A cat in the hat.

I really like that Moulin Rouge line, too. ^-^ I can't really think of other specific movie lines that I really like. But I really liked this one thing from Batman Returns- when Michelle Pfeiffer ('s character) is becoming Catwoman and comes to wreck her apartment, there is this neon light in her room that says "Hello There." After she goes crazy and destrys everything, parts of the light are broken and it says, "Hell Here."

Hi, I've wished for long to discuss this topic myself. Great work. There are so many lines I want to put in here. "With great power comes great responsibilities" from the movie spiderman. "I will make him an offer he can't refuse" from The Godfather. "Don't say you are innocent, 'coz that insults my intellect" and "Don't hate your enemies, that affects your judgment." from The Godfather. They are all my favorite lines. There are more that I can't remember right now. But I think this discussion will be a really long one. Happy myLotting. Take care God bless you

I love watching movies, especially those movies that have the famous lines that you will remember forever. I have a few favorites myself. "You can't handle the truth" from actor Jack Nicholson. "Top of the world" Leonardo DiCaprio. "Do you feel lucky, punk. Well do ya" Clint Eastwood. "There Back" Poltergeist. I guess there are certain lines in movies that stay with us for life. That's part of what makes some movies, great movies.

I have 2 favorites: 1. "why do you want to marry me anyhow?" - ally "so i can kiss you anytime i want" - noah This is from the movie The Notebook 2. "This is SPARTA!" From the movie 300.

Hi oschantz, correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that line, "why do you want to marry me anyhow?" so i can kiss you anytime i want" is from Sweet Home Alabama starring Reese Witherspoon and not from The Notebook?
