The computer world of today has become fast. With the introduction of GUI technology mouse has got a role to play. Form the time when internet and multimedia was introduced it has been used more than a keyboard. I doesn't matter whether you typing speed is good or not. But if you are slow with mouse click, you will be a looser. So we can say that mouse has more role to play as input than keyboard. However their individual existence don't have any meaning.

Yeah, definitely, most software installations and operations requires mouse more than keyboard. If you don't know how to use mouse, you can't do a lot of things with computers. However, if you are an expert in computer, you can actually run all programs using keyboards without mouse but it's rather difficult for most people.

I use any keyboard shortcut I can to make my life a lot easier. There are times where I have no choice but to use the mouse. For the most part, there is no problem using the mouse. Still, any shortcut is much appreciated. Of course, neither can survive with the other. There are just some things that have to be done with a mouse and the same with the keyboard.
