Prom

Everyone usually says that prom is going to be the great culmination of your high school experience. Frankly, my prom sucked. I had more fun working/crashing prom during my sophmore year than I did attending my senior prom. What about you? Was prom all that you thought it should be or were you left disappointed?

Honestly, my prom sucked as well. Should I have known! I wouldn't even attend that event. I attended because of the stories that proms are great. That time, only the coolest people had a great time while we sulk in one corner. Boohoo! Oh well! That's life. Moving on ...

My prom wasn't bad. My senior prom was at Disney's California Adventure next to Disneyland and Downtown Disney. It was nice. The only thing that I regret was the dress that I wore to prom. That dress was awful, but other than that, it wasn't bad.
My advice to teen girls going to prom. Lavender/light purple, gold, and orange are NOT colors that you want to be seen in at prom. Know what the theme of the prom is, and know where it is going to be located, so that you can work your way around it when it comes to how you are going to dress and what colors you are going to were.
Know who you are going with far in advanced if you can help it, and know what they are going to do, also don't go prom with people you hate, don't trust, or are abusing you because it tends to get worse on prom night. My friends had nasty stories about what happened to them on their prom night, and it was all because of the people that they were with. Better to safe than sorry on prom night.
