Music and the nature of the person

Does the type of music,whether it was rock or jazz or any other type highlights the nature of the person?

A little - but not completely. I took a moment to think about the kind of music I listen to and a lot of it does fit in with my personality but there are some things that are just catchy that I love even if I would never be the person described in the song or something, such as Maroon 5. I love their stuff but I won't listen to it around my family or I get embarrassed. They know I listen to the group but they don't pay attention to who they are, thankfully. I think we naturally gravitate to songs that we can relate to or songs that fit in with our way of thinking but some things are just too fun to listen to, even if we don't agree with the message.

i think so too.. I think music preference has some connection with the personality of a person..
