Do you mean pet names for lovers? Well it could be mhomy, myz, moch.. In cebu the ONE'S THat i usually here is LANGGA OR PANGGA. tHE BISaya form of love they call their partners lab. I Also had this friend who calls her gelfriend BONING. For tagalogs they call them MAHAL. NO MATTER how many endearments you call you're partner. It only boils down to one thing YOU LOVE HER.

I know those terms. I've heard it. A girl told me "Mahal Kita" over chat. I didn't understand it then. I've understood it just now and that makes me quite upset. Take care

Those responses are just limited in the Philippines. How much more in the whole world. We may all be born differently but we all have the same interest. :) Spread some love!!!

If your question is about girlfriend then yes it is good to use such terms for her since it shows that the guy cares deeply about her and also it personalizes the relationship.I like when my boyfriend uses such terms on me. But I will say that babe, baby and so on are too common. The best is if you call her princess, your queen or any name pertaining to a beautiful character from a novel. This brings elegance to the relationship.

It depends who tel me that and how often. If the person is not close to me, that annoy me, its too familiar. If its used too often it may be annoying too - like I don't have a real name. I like to hear such words from someone special to me, but not every time when he wants to tell me something and not to use my real name at all.

Hi, I think girls do like to be called by those names, but not single girls. They will only allow a person to call by those names if and only if he is quite close to her, most probably her boyfriend or husband. I think one who is committed will be rather pleased to be called by those names by her boyfriend. God bless you all
