Yesterday when I was talking with one of my friends, she told that she would be visiting an African country in the next month and she has to be vaccinated for yellow fever for this.. This is a special vaccine to enter the African country. I don't think my country India needs any such special vaccinge before entering into the country? Has anyone given a special vaccine for visiting India? Have you been vaccinated specially for entering any other country?

When I boarded the plane for the Seychelles in Nairobi all the passengers were having to show certificates of vaccination for yellow fever. It didn't apply to us because we had arrived from the UK.
I know that some countries in South America require a certificate of vaccination for yellow fever if the traveler has visited a yellow fever region on their trip. An example would be visiting Ecuador and then going to Peru. I think Brazil requires a vaccination of yellow fever if arriving from the River Amazon.
I have taken anti malaria pills for two of my trips. I did for my trip to Kenya and my trip to Indonesia plus Malaysia.

So the yellow fever vaccine seems to be a mandatory one for almost all African countries..I think you have a good travelling profile..You have visited many countries..I love to travel too..
