What a hassle to join up to Mylot!

I've been on mylot for a few years now and right now as I type my friend is joining. We are from Australia. He put in all his details, signed up and then all these ads came up asking for his address! They wouldn't accept Australian addresses so what is he supposed to do? He can't go any further with his sign up. Does anyone else not from the US know what's going on?

Are you sure that your friend was on the genuine MyLot site? It sounds to me that he might have got on to a fake website?

Pretty strange. I don't remember anything like that when I joined, but that was 3 or 4 years ago and I suppose things might have changed.

Have you been able to get a response from Mylot on this? As You say,if You're Australian too,unless the goalposts on signup and membership have been moved since the time You joined (And I can't see Why when there ARE Aussies here,they'd block New ones!) then there shouldn't be a problem...Keep us updated!

I am also from Australia and I don’t remember having to put my address in when I joined! I hope I am not wrong but all I did was enter my nationality somewhere along the line. I suspect that your friend may be trying to join through another site perhaps and not directly on MyLot. If I am wrong I would suggest writing to admin because, clearly Aussies are welcome here. Good luck to your friend I hope he manages to come on board; it would be great to meet another soul from Australia!
